I currently use Tidy Cats Instant Action clumping litter. It works well, but it seems anymore my cat always has this scent on her feet from the litter which I don't like smelling. Her litter box is in the basement, so I am not worried about litter box odors, not that I have ever had or noticed...

That is a great video you provided along with your tips for brushing.  Your cat seems so comfortable and relaxed with the process---alas, I can only hope!!!
