Cat has suddenly started to stratch our walls & peel off the wallpaper

I thought we had a fairly tall scratching post, but after reading your comments it's really made me rethink as the scratch marks are gradually climbing higher and higher. Our hallway and stairs are too narrow to put the scratching post in front of as we'll be constantly walking into it and...

Cat has suddenly started to stratch our walls & peel off the wallpaper

We got Pads from an RSPCA in January when he was about 2 years old so I don't have any history on him except for the last 8 months while he has been with us. He is very settled, usually has a good appetite and will always eat every meal put down within a few minutes. He is mainly an indoors cat (we...

    Meal times?

Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I'll have a look at the threads you suggested. We've kept with IAMs dried food as this is what the RSPCA were feeding Pads before we adopted him, but I will look into the wet food.

    Meal times?

Hi All I don't have much experience with Cats so I was hoping you may be able to help me. We adopted our two year old black cat from the RSPCA three weeks ago and have been feeling our way with meal times. We started out with two meals a day but Pads always seems so hungry first thing in the...
