Melissa is a whiney B, and should have been gone. Rock needs to step up and put the pressure on her so she cracks. He's about the only decent chef on the show. I don't think he really has any competition, unless Julia the short order cook sneaks in there by staying out of trouble.
I know people use those plastic kiddie pools for a whelping box, line it with towels. Mom is going to need a ton of nutrition - I recommend getting her on a super premium food right away, because once pups come, she's going to need all the calories and nutrition she can get.
Has she seen a...
That's wonderful!
Boxers for Dummies is a great book for Boxer newbies! Boxers are great dogs, and wonderful companions, but do have their quirks! I have my fingers crossed that he gets a wonderful new home!
OK, no trimming needed, good to know! I just wasn't sure if litter would stick and get tracked, hadn't noticed any, but that doesn't mean that it isn't buried under the dog hair on my floor!
I did trim the hair around her bottom when I first got her, she wasn't raising her tail high enough...
My fluffy kitten, Sky, has very hairy feet - like I can barely see her paw pads. Is this normal? Do I need to trim them? Her ears are very hairy, too. I would expect a long haired cat to have more hair, but the hair on her feet is very long and I worry about her tracking litter and stuff.
Dog aggression in Boxers doesn't always show up right away. A month is about how long it can take for a Boxer to get used to new surroundings and show true colors. Or, he could be at the right age (18 months - around 3 years), for 'social climbing' - this is when Boxers decide they want to be...
A LOT of Boxers are dog aggressive - this shouldn't be a death sentence for him! We have Boxers come through our rescue that absolutely have to be only dogs in the homes because of dog aggression. I can't say with certainty since I haven't met him, but if he's not showing HUMAN aggression at...
I keep birdseed in the bottom of her dish, sometimes she eats it, sometimes not. I wouldn't give her *just* birdseed, but she does like it. But I have a parakeet, so I always have birdseed available.
Probably not long enough, honestly. I had Sky (who I've had longer) on it for a month, and little Sqawk only a week before I switched, because Sky's stools were still loose. It was making me nervous, not being a cat person at all, I didn't know how long kittens take to get used to new food. I...
I had them on Merricks, but their stool was really loose. I figured it was too rich. I love Merricks for my dogs, especially for my skinny fosters - it's like doggy crack, they eat it very well.
They are on Brandon Farms Organic, it has a good ingrediant list, I really don't notice any smell...
I think it bothers him because 'his' couch is right next to the kitty feeding area. Personally, I don't notice the smell at all!
OK, thanks for the links and info, I'll let him know. Maybe I'll buy him some nose plugs, he can wear them until the babies are done eating!
I enjoy my kittens, especially Sky (who has a more dog-like personality!), but the dogs are my buddies. They go with me everywhere they are allowed, while from what I've heard, most cats don't take well to travelling (although, again, Sky loves going camping, she doesn't know she's a cat!)...
They will become omnivores if offered crickets, but can thrive on veggies only. I don't give mine crickets at all, he eats veggies only, with the occasional apple or grape as a treat.
They get water from the veggies they eat, and you don't have to provide water (but can - some Malis do like to...
