    Bathing a newly adopted stray?

Thank you for the suggestions. Pretty sure the vet office I've taken him to offers grooming service, but will double check. Would most definitely make things easier on us all, though I reckon he'd have a hankering to just go out and get himself dirty again.  ;)

    Collars (for former strays)

Anyone got a recommendation for a good (but not ridiculously expensive) cat collar? Recently took in a stray. Tried a couple different collars on him. He got into a scuffle last weekend and came home sans collar/tag. Still need to microchip him, but will handle that in the next week. Just...

Let me try to give you the lowdown without being to lengthy or rehashing previous posts: my boyfriend and I recently took in a stray that had been coming to his shop for a few years...

    Advice needed: newly adopted stray

Photos of our yard below. As you can see, it's not fully enclosed, but pretty decent. The fences are about 5'5" - 6' tall, but that said, I wouldn't underestimate Gary's ability to hop on the planter box and over the fence if he was so inclined.

    Advice needed: newly adopted stray

Hi Columbine. Thanks for the response. Love the idea of a "catio," though that likely won't be possible since we rent. I'll post some post some photos of our yard in a separate reply so you all can get an idea of our yard situation and advise accordingly. Thanks again!
