1. We really liked Innova but it's not cheap.
2. Just try some different things out. My cost a bit at first but it will be cheaper then buying new furniture. For the one we have that doesn't do scratching posts, we got a cheap rug and she claws that.
3. Of course 2 would be much better for...
but I'm about this close <_> Of course we never would but we are really running out of patience.
We have 3 amazing cats and have fostered a bunch more. But Max is the most unhappy cat I have ever, ever seen. Even the feral ones we have rescued we have managed to 'break'. I got Max and his...
Brother just brought in his 17yr old male cat. Started throwing up yellow fluid with a little blood in it today and has lost a lot of weight these past few days. Gums have a yellowish tint and so does the whites of his eyes.
Vet says she does not think its related to his liver or kidney but...
Need to get one or the other for my cats since it's required to bring them to a different country.
They are inside cats so I'm more concered with pain, recovery, etc...
Thoughts on which is better? Thanks.
We have gone through 3 Littermaids and the dont really work that well. We have the Litter Robot. True three times the cost but it's three times better.
She used to just wheez when she purred during one of her 'love attacks'. Now she starts having a coughing fit, like she can't catch her breath. She will then walk away from us, like it's too overwhelming for her and just stand there coughing and/or trying to catch her breath.
Other then that...
We think we have a bug going around the rescues we have. Most ar doing ok and we have started antibiodics but we have one 8 week kitten that it seems to have hit the hardest. No appitite and lethargic. He was at the vet 3 days ago and they didnt seem worried but the no eatin and driking thing...
That's good to hear. We had a similar situation. Not pretty since while he was doing his business the others would be stimulated to do their own business, if you catch my drift.
We had to pull him apart, got him a stuffed ducky thing and her eventually grew out of it. Good luck.
Jen, I thought it was more of an issue with the anesthesia? I know most doctors will wait on a surgery for a child when putting them under if the surgery isn't an emergency.
That being said we don't live in a perfect world and if the vet gives his ok and the adoptee is a very good home then...
Right...it almost is like a switch and normally time and love can turn it on, but this time????? We were very worried it would set him back, not turning him into a lap cat literally overnight...goes to show you not to give up too soon. We were seriously questioning his potential for adoption.
That's a little too young in my book. It's not terrible but the risk of complication would be increased. The only time we would get a kitten fixed that young is if they are 100% feral and we were releasing them back outside. And even in that case would would juts keep them longer and let then...
We rescued three kittens...they are around 6-7 weeks. not feral but definitely not happy with humans (hissing, cowering, even some biting and attacking). the white one was the first to come around after a few days she loves being held. the black and white one came around a little bit and even...
