Do your cats treat you differently from your S/O?

Byr treats my husband like a playmate, while I am unquestionably his mummy When he wants to rough-house, he stalks and pounces on DH and mock-fights like a little lion. When he wants cuddles and kisses he'll come purring up to me and rub his face all over mine, then insist on sleeping near my...

    Cats laying on your pillow?

LOL thanks He is getting bigger and vainer every week -- here is a photo of him a month and a half after the last one was taken (boy do they grow up fast!)

Soft Paws vs Soft Claws - any difference ?

We bought a Blue Small set of Soft Claws and they fit perfectly on his "larger" claws --- Byron didn't struggle at all when I was putting them on, but it may have just been because he was expecting (and getting) some treats while being manicured He is still wearing some of the clear...

    Cats laying on your pillow?

I don't mind when Byron hops up to say hello and sits on the pillow, but I do mind when he positions his tush an inch away from my face sometimes! That said though, he's not a big shedder and he's very fastidious about cleaning himself -- I do push him off if I know he is straight from the...

Are You As Upset By This As I Am????

While I love a lot of the threads and information that I've found lurking (before regging) on TCS forums, I've noticed that there's a LOT of self-righteous lecturing going on when some poor new person asks a question that has some basis in ignorance. "WELL I...

Soft Paws vs Soft Claws - any difference ?

Is there a difference between the two brands, Soft Paws and Soft Claws? Their websites look almost identical, but the brand names on the boxes shown are different Byron has the "kitten" size Soft Claws (the only ones I could find in local pet store) on at the moment --- there were some claws...

Wet Food, Dry food, short absences

That's what my husband says! Thank you for the advice, we will try leaving him alone for our next short trip and try to get someone to come out and see him during the Saturday -- we live far out from town so it's a bit of an inconvenience for others. The boarding part is not expensive -- $15...

Wet Food, Dry food, short absences

My hubby and I have a BSH kitten (~3 months) who is currently on Innova EVO and Felidae canned, and a small portion of Nutro that we got from the breeder as free-ranged dry. We bought a bag of Innova EVO kibble as well to switch him over after lurking here to read about kitten/cat foods...

Quality food for both a kitten and mature cat

Alfalfa is a legume (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legume). Grains are things like wheat, corn, barley, etc --- think of cereals when someone says grain. Some legumes are harvested like grains, but they are physiologically different (both in form and protein content).
