Anything that moves, but lizards seem to be Iris' favorite. She prefers stalking & catching her own meals to being fed from a bowl. I thought she was catching live stuff just to play with until a few days ago. I'll spare you the graphic details, but it looked like something from "Wild Kingdom"...

It's so funny the way cats will do the strangest things and then look at you like "What? Doesn't everyone do this?" Wish I could get Iris to do that. She gets her paws filthy from digging for moles.

Thanks for your replies. I'll try to give the vet a call just to be sure, but it sounds like she's just a cat doing the stuff that cats do. And it is fun to watch my mighty little huntress stalking and catching her prey. She will chase these things all around the yard leaping 2-3 feet at a time...
