Here is a brand that is safe for pets and people. It can be given to your pets for parasites and for yourself. I emailed them for the human dosage and this is what they said: Yes it is and you could do ½ - full teaspoon per day.
Oops, forgot to post the site,hehe...
That is a bummer. Was he eating dry and wet at one point? What kind of canned is he eating now. I am trying to have Sandi lose weight (13yrs @ approx. 12lbs) she has some manecoone (sp?). I am finding out that dry isn't good after all. I am going to a pet store tomorrow to see if they have...
Hey Beandip (cute name by the way),
Ok I understand what you are saying. As for the Friskies, she has been eating that for a while and the dry I just switched and didn't want to switch everything at the same time. I never thought of feeding her healthier food until I looked into changing my...
Hi Sharky,
I am not sure if I understand your question. Are you asking why do I give her Friskies or why do I want to stop or are you asking what is wrong with Friskies. I think it has to many fillers and makes them addicted to the food, that is just IMO.
Hey Beandip,
What do you mean...
Hey Beandip that is a great idea. Is it bad to just feed dried food or should they have both. I feed my baby girl--Sandi--Friskies wet (senior) and Innova dry. I was thinking doing your gravy idea on the dry and not feed the friskies cause I want her to have a more healty food and nothing...
Thank you for those links. The dry Innova by Natura is made by Natura (they have there own plant) plus it has no wheat gluten neither does the wet (I think), but the cut and gravy can is made by Menu but not recalled so I am ok for the dry.
Natura uses Menu, are you sure, is it only the wet or both. If I am not mistaken they have not wheat gluten or corn. Are you sure it isn't the other brand Nutro or the other one that is spelled very similar. Anyhoo, I will email them now to find out for sure. Are they on the recall list...
How about the Natura brand Innova--the only grain in it is brown rice and if that is even considered a grain. Does anyone know if this one is made by the Menu foods. I think I will email them a question.
