Went back to the vet today, and got an ultrasound and it showed no blockage. They're saying it's either inflammatory bowel syndrome or cancer. We're hoping for the former and treating her for it with steroid injection, new food and probiotics. Poor baby girl. :( 

Thank you for the hope! Penny also isn't showing any visible symptoms besides the gagging. Our X-rays came back totally normal, did you see the lung issue on your initial X-ray? I hope that your cat feels 100% soon!
