Hi....I was at my friends house yesterday...she recently adopted a 2 year old male cat. He is using the litter box with no problems. The box is a covered box.
Her and I were talking and I kept hearing the cat scratching in the box and then this weird sound. She told me this odd thing he does...
He pooped on the couch before we went to the Vet. I have "Petastic" spray, is that good?
Is old fashioned Jonny Cat litter the only type of non clumping? Where does the urine go, and do I have to use a liner? I think they would shred a liner, the tend to dig to the bottom.
Hi...well, the Vet feels they are a little older, 8 or 9 weeks. The one that was acting tired yesterday is much better today, so he said just keep an eye on him and make sure he is drinking and eating.
They both got mite and flea treatment (frontline plus).
I have 2 male kittens, and got them 3 days ago. The Vet feels they are about 8 or 9 weeks.
I started them on clumping litter, but I really wanted to try feline pine. I have slowly transitioned them and they were using the box for urine and poop....although they often would walk around in it...
He is doing better this morning...thank God! I woke up in the middle of the night to check on them in the bathroom. The last few nights, they would just be in bed and look up at me when I opened the door. Last night, they both jumped out of bed, and tried to run out
I will let you know what...
The last time he ate or played was late this morning.
Is a cold in a cat different than a human? meaning....a cold in a human is a virus and antibiotics do not work. Is a cold in a cat caused by bacteria?
I picked up kitty, his one eye was very weepy and he looked exausted. He walked about 2 feet, turned around, walked back to his bed and fell asleep.
Could his little cold cause his to be this tired....I am really worried now.
I am worried, one of the kittens has been asleep nearly all day, only waking up for a few minutes here and there.
Do they sometimes just sleep a whole lot?
I think they have kitten colds, they keep sneezing...and I also think they have ear mites. I looked in their ears with a tiny flashlight and saw these tiny black icky things.
They have their first Vet check tomorrow.
In regards to them sleeping, we would love for them to sleep with us on our bed...BUT knowing they are kittens, we don't want them to be wild and playing with our feet all night. So do we just wait till they are older?
Is it OK to have their food in the bathroom at night, when it's not...
I thought I was supposed to just put their box where it will be permanently so they will be used to it?
I don't think pie tins will work, I have a small litter box now and they are already wild with that.....LOL
How old will they be before they coming running to their names, and want to be petted?
Right now when they are not sleeping, they play wildly We all pick them up and hold them, pet them for a minute or two before they are wiggling to go and play more. Is this OK to do?
