You're saying that they could be sick, though they aren't showing it, still have appetites, and aren't coughing, sneezing, etc.? If so, then they ARE really good at hiding it!
My cat Noelle is an 8 year old Main Coon mix girl.
Ever since we brought her home from the humaine society she's been a bit on the touchy side, and now with a dog and another cat, she's been pretty aggressive.
This being said, it usually happened that Gracie (the other kitty) could approach...
Thanks VERY much for all your help, guys!
However I think it was just a passing alergy or something. Whatever it is, it's gone now. The kitties haven't thrown up since then, have been eating, acting and pooping just fine.
Thanks again!
Well I thank you for your help and concern... but is there any way to cure this at home? (i.e. preventive/curing paste or cookies)
The reason I ask this is because it wouldn't be the best thing to take Noelle in the car... we moved recently, and carrying her in her case caused her to throw up on...
Thanks for all your replies!
Actually, there has been no change of diet. She's been eating the same thing breakfast and dinner for about 7 months.
And, the food is digested...
Oh, and now her kitty "sister", a Maine Coon Mix (I'm guessing) 7 3/4 year old cat named Noelle (the raving beauty )...
I have a four year old female cat named Gracie (some of you may be familiar with her from "Gracie the cutie and Noelle the raving beauty" post).
She is throwing up her food recently. It's not hairballs, just food throw-up.
She has done it on her chair where she sleeps and more recently under...
White Cat Lover, I think you'll enjoy these pictures - I set Gracie up on top of my bookshelf and started taking pictures of her. Because of the lighting, most turned out really well.
So, here are the pics of my posing, flirting little !
Thanks for all the great comments! Here are some more pictures of my girls:
And of course, they're not all beauties all the time... they're goof-balls too!

And I have some pictures of Gracie posing around, so I'll post those...
When I got Gracie her eyes were kind of yellowish - now they're a greenish... more hazel, actually...
I'll post some more pictures today. I just have to load them onto photobucket first, so stay tuned to see more shots of my cuties!
OK - do you think normal human finger-nail clippers would be OK if I cut diagnally and carefully?
And thanks for the step-by-step... I need that sort of thing!
So, butt on lap, back against stomach, paw in right hand? (lefty )
Thanks, all!
Three Leaved clover... that's the nicest description I've heard! Usually we just call it more of a mustache and goatee
Maine Coon? That sounds right. She sure is a big girl, whatever she is!
Who knows, she could be anything... I got her at the same local humaine society Gracie came...
Here are just a few pictures of my two cats. Gracie is some kind of mixed breed... I really don't know what she is at all(!) and I'm pretty sure that Noelle is a Norwiegen Forest Cat...
Anyway, I will be getting some better pictures soon, but until then, here are a few pictures of them...
Thanks, Yosemite,
I'll try that. Luckily, Gracie's a very mellow little girl, so I don't think it will be too hard to clip her little claws...
Thanks again, and I'll head over to the Cat Lounge soon and post a few pictures
Thanks very much for all the replies!
Would you like to see Gracie, and Noelle? I want to post pictures of them, but I don't know where I can do that.
Have any suggestions as to which forum?
Thanks again!
OK, thanks everyone for your help!
I do have a two-story scratching post with a one story post set sturdily on top that she likes to use (she and her adopted cat sister Noelle really enjoy it - plus it keeps them from scratching up the couch) so that takes care of that one aspect.
Next time I...
