He's around 5-6months old and he has not used the litter box at all since i clipped his nail too short yesterday. I saw blood around the area but it did not bleed to the extent that i would have to put flour or anything on the cut. I did not notice blood on his hair around the nail and no blood...
thank you for the link @juleska. i think placement might be an issue.....i changed its' opening's direction 2-3 weeks ago. i'll try changing it back to how it used to be and see if that helps.
i have had him for about 2 months and i got him from a shelter. he was dewormed at the shelter, after that i got his stool test done at my vet's.....they said everything was normal. although the vet mentioned that kittens normally need a series of deworming and not just 1, but after the result...
there's liquidy poop inside the litter box too i just checked. i think he got to the litter box a little late due to which he leaked some on the way. but why is he pooping liquid-form? how can i reduce his stress at night? i can't change rooms.
I don't want him roaming the house when i can't supervise him so i I keep him in my room at night (which is mostly for 14-15 hours). He hates being confined to this room since he was a little kitten....but i don't know what else to do with him at night.
Since last week i haven't noticed much...

There's good news: i don't have to give him up anymore.
A friend's friend has agreed to take in the kitten (for free) :D He's quite experienced and i am sure my kitten will be safe with him and his 2 year old cat :D

I just checked my contract with the shelter and it does not say anything about rehoming the kitten. so i assume it's not restricting it's adoption to someone else?
but it does state that the shelter reserves the right to check on the pet anytime after adoption (to me) and that the cat is for...
