Thanks He was not cathed, so all i can think of is the food dissolved the crystals, and the antibiotic he was on did nothing, allowing the bacteria in the bladder to continue to grow.... so hopefully this shot clears him all up....  Does ANYONE think its ok for me to mix a little of the SD...

So today were on day 12 of his meds for struvite crystals, and all was going well until this morning i heard a crying from the litter box... sure enough it was Nado again, in and out every 10 mins, just droplets....  I guess im calling the vet again, he was doing so well  :( I love my cats...

Update : my brother in law gave me a medical syringe plunger ( sorta wide ) I wasnt sure if i could crush the baytril, but after researching that its a tasty tab ( chew-able) its only common sense if it can be chewed, it can be crushed... I used liquid from wet food... just enough to dissolve...

OH the vet said i can bring him in daily and they will pill him.. cause clearly THAT'S convenient for 2 weeks, 10 mins to get in carrier, 20 min drive each way, followed by my other cats hissing at him when he returns.....

what is the differance between the Hills SD and the hills CD ,,,, I ask because the vets office said my cat would need to remain on this SD even after his crystals are cleared up.... should I ask for the CD instead?
