Good idea, with the hand washing. Count down to kitty started today with breaking down and storing a bunch of boxes (we recently moved) and cleaning up of general clutter around the apartment. Coming soon: the mastering the computer cord dilemma.

We're planning to get two HEPA filters (basically 2 rooms in the apartment, living room and bedroom) and a vaccum. I am hesitant to keep the cat out of the bedroom since we are only planning on getting one, and a kitten at that, although that seems to be the most common piece of advice floating...
