My mom and I are rather outraged right now!!

Thanks for the clarification. No need to be rude. However you didn't answer any of my questions . Would you prefer he take your moms cats that are bothering him on his property to the shelter where they will likely be euthanized? Otherwise, what would you prefer him do to take care of this...

My mom and I are rather outraged right now!!

I still don't understand, is this a humane live trap he is using? If so, what is the problem? What would you like him to do with the cats that are pooping in his lawn (disgusting) and otherwise annoying him? Just let them because they are cats you know and your mother refuses to keep them...

My mom and I are rather outraged right now!!

If it's a humane live trap you're talking about, i think it's completely okay to use this to trap roaming cats (although not at all okay to keep the cat locked up for days at a time with no food or water). What else was this man supposed to do if neighborhood cats were on his property...

    Today is the day....

I have been fostering for over a year now and i have had at least ten litters of kittens leave my place for their new homes. It does get a little easier over time, but it still hurts a little each time one of them goes. The hurt goes away very quickly though when I take in the next round of...

    pregnant cat please help me

Will you have all of the kittens spayed/neutered before they go to their new homes? Please make sure you do, there is certainly no shortage of homeless kittens here in Wisconsin.

    Question about new litter...

I would definitely agree that you should ask a rescue to help you place them. Remember, the kittens need to be spayed/neutered before they go to their new homes..the adoption fee can help cover that. Thank you for taking this little family in!

kittens are getting big and I have a problem!?

If the mom has always had a smelly box, it definitely could be the food. You might want to try a higher quality food and see if that helps. I don't know if now is the best time, however (not sure if you should be risking upset stomach with the young ones, since diarrhea in kittens can be fatal...

Rescue Vent (Very Long) Advice Please...

I have had simillar things come up in the organization i foster for. Especially the feeling that you are being cornered into adopting your unadoptable fosters. My best advice to you, personally, is to take some time off. Take a break from saving the feline world and just enjoy your own cats...

Thank you for the warm welcome, everyone! Yes, i have TONS of pictures, i will be sure to post some soon. And mferr84, one of my kittens has already been picked out and pre-adopted (still with me for a couple more weeks) but the others have not had much exposure yet, as they are not able to...

    Hi!

Hi everyone! I found this site when i googled for some kitten info and it has been quite helpful. I live in Wisconsin and volunteer with a local feral cat rescue. I currently have nine cats living with me (in a two bedroom apartment ). There is Tinkerbell, my cat, my first cat, adopted from...
