Possibly adopting a previously declawed cat... some questions

Hi! I currently work at an animal shelter and we have a cat that has come back multiple times. She is a 3 year old front declawed cat, and she has a history of litter box avoidance in a home. We have never had an issue with her when in the shelter, even in communal cages, and I wanted to see if...

    3.5 Week old babies

Hi, I have 3 3.5 week old feral babies (they'll be four weeks Thursday) and they don't want to take a bottle or syringe. Two of them are eating a little bit of kitten milk mixed with wet food, but the other one doesn't want anything to do with bowl. He does lick a little off the end of my...

    advice please

She eats if i put the food right next tothe entrance to the box, but only as much as she can reach without leaving the box. Same with the water. She's started growling when I go to get the bowl after she's done eating though. I'm more worried about her muscle tone if she doesn't start moving more.

    advice please

Hi, I need some advice on what to do with a feral mom and her kittens. She and her babies were trapped Monday and have spent the week in a large cat playpen in my bedroom. The problem is I think she is getting more stressed the longer she stays at the house. She is starting to get aggressive...

    Feral Mama and babies

Thanks! We are more concerned with mama right now, she isn't eating or drinking much, but we're giving her a few more days before we make any decisions. We'd rather not remove the kittens if at all possible.

    Feral Mama and babies

Thanks! Yes she seems to be calmer after Toulouse, who is her son from a previous litter that I trapped is near. I am concerned with the one male because he doesn't seem to be as active as the other two. When we picked them up yesterday the other two started crying, but he didn't. Could be...

    Feral Mama and babies

Hi! I just trapped a feral mom and her three one week old babies, and I had a couple of questions. First, how long should I give her to calm down before I need to become concerned? She has been with me for 15 hours and has barely moved. Second, someone told me her milk may dry up if she is...
