    Sneezing/VERY runny eye

I found this on a motorcycle site I go to and thought this might help. It reminded of the first time I had to give Booda a pill and thought it fit me to a "T". INSTRUCTIONS FOR GIVING YOUR CAT A PILL 1. Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position...

    Dry skin & dandruff

Our kitten is 6 1/2 months old and about 7 lbs. I called our vet back and our vet said to start at 1/4 teaspoon and the advance it a 1/4 teaspoon at a time until his stools become loose. I know one thing is for sure, Booda sure likes the taste of the veggie oil!:tounge2:

    Dry skin & dandruff

Our vet said to put a 1/4 teaspoon of vegetable oil on our kitten's food and this would help with his coat. It took about 4 days and we saw a conciderable difference. It will also help with hair balls.

    Kitten and cats teeth.

When do kittens start to lose their teeth and how long does that usually last? Also do cats regrow a tooth if it looses one after they loose their baby teeth? The reason I ask is because I think Booda had a tooth cracked at the vet the other day when he was put under for surgury and today when I...

    Kitten Food Recommendations

The only thing our kitten eats is Purina Kitten Chow. We have tried Iams, Purina Pro Plan, and Nutro. He won't touch them. I even tried the recommended way to introduce him to it by Iams, 25% to 75% mix of new to old, and he would leave the Iams in the bottom of the bowl.

What foods are poisonous to cats?

I hope this helps. In the book I just got from Iams it talks about "feeding don'ts" and it lists chocolate, onion powder, cow's milk, raw eggs, and tuna. Chocolate contains theobromine that makes it toxic to cats. It causes increased heart and respitory rates, vomiting, diarrhea, and depression...

Tigger, It was the neighboors that finally did something about this deal...

    Scratching around the food bowl?

Our six month old kitten has just started to scratch the linoleum around the outside of his food bowl like he is trying to cover the smell. It's kind'a funny to watch him, but is this a normal behavior or is he trying to tell me something? It's his favorite food since he will only eat Purina...

    Leo Law

...and they say that we human beings are suppose to be the superior creatures of this planet. Some times I sit and wonder about that. This site sure has reminded me that there are still a few good people out there. Great job!

    Gruesome question

I have owned two boas and a ball python and they all would only eat live rodents. I have heard of people feding their reptiles puppies, kittens, rabbits, and chickens. I feel the people that feed the kittens and puppies are dimented (sp?). I guess you could look at the people that feed their...

    Hello, new to the board.

I must say I've always thought of myself as a rough & tough construction worker, but that sight that Melissa sent me to darn near had me in tears. I talked to my wife and we definetly have reconcidered the declawing. Now I just need to find a good scratching post. This kitten is such a...
