    Incessant meowing...

Yes, we plan to adopt a new cat in a couple weeks. I just hope he's not lonely. I feel terrible for having to do that to him. I didn't like doing it. I just hope he's okay for the next few weeks until we get the new kitty.

    Incessant meowing...

So I have a question. I used to have 2 cats, Spock and Saki. They've been together since kittenhood. A few weeks ago, we had to give Spock up. He had some issues that we couldn't deal with. He really needed to be an outdoor/indoor cat, so we gave him to a friend that had a better place for him...

    Cat hair! Yay!

Thanks for the tips. I'll look into those products. And as for the slipcover thing, I'm actually in the process of buying those for my sofas. But they'll be there like, to cover up older couches, so even tho I'll wash them, I'd rather get the hair on the couches rather than the slipcovers! LOL I...

    Mr. Spock... pooping again!

One box; we've tried two, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Also, we have only 2 cats, even tho the profile shows three. Checkers passed away a while ago The box is located in our bathroom, underneath a shelf in a linen closet. Kind of hard to explain. The closet has no doors, it's just...

    Cat hair! Yay!

Okay, not so "yay". So what's a good solution for keeping cat hair off the furniture? I mean, besides keeping the CATS off. Any thoughts?

    When to consider rehoming

This actually sounds a LOT like what my husband and I are going through right now. Mr. Spock has been pooping beside his litter box for about a year now, maybe a bit more. It's driving us both mad, especially my husband. I'm the one that has to clean it (he won't touch the stuff!), but when he...

    Mr. Spock... pooping again!

Thanks for all the replies. I'm still considering options. I need to take him to the vet again I guess. It's been a few months. Maybe something else is going on. Thanks again!

    Mr. Spock... pooping again!

Okay so, I need some help. I've read just about all I can read here on litter-box issues and all that. I'm at my wit's end really. My husband and I love Mr. Spock so much. He was our first baby. But no matter what I do, he keeps pooping BESIDE the litter box (thank goodness we have tile floors...

    Kitty Emergency... maybe....

Okay so, a few minutes ago, I heard my two cats playing with something on the floor. I looked over and Spock had a silica gel package in his mouth!!!! I ran over there and got it before he chewed it, but the package was wet, and there were little teeth marks in it. I don't think they punctured...

Bella randomly not going in litter box

Yes, definitely make a vet appointment. She could have a UTI or something to do with that area that's stressing her out or making her uncomfortable. Have you changed cat litter? That could be a key issue as well. My Spock has litter box issues. He poops beside the box on the floor whenever the...

    Ewww! Kitty Breath!

Okay so here's a typical night for me: I get all comfy in bed with the hubby, and all four kitties at one time or another, jump on the bed to cuddle with us. Domino, one of our youngest, gets all up in my face and wants to purr and lick. Aww, so sweet, right? WRONG. He's got horrible breath! I...

    Kitty Injury

Alright, thanks. It looks like it's healing pretty well, not infected or anything, so that's good.

    Kitty Injury

Okay, so somehow my kitten, Domino, has injured his nose. I'm not sure how it happened, but it's scabbing up now. It kind of looks like a burn of some sort like he stuck his nose in a candle or something. I'm just wondering... is there anything I can do for that? Could I put anything like...

    Kittens and worms... ?

I've heard kittens are born with worms. Is this true? I have two kittens, both about 4 months old. They get along great with my two older cats. My concern is, though they've both been examined when I first got them, I haven't yet had a chance to get them dewormed. My husband recently had an...

    Food & Litter

Okay so I have some questions... How is Purina in terms of healthy natural food for the kitties? I've heard it has the least amount of preservatives and artificial junk, but I'd like some opinions. Also, how is Fresh Step clumping litter in terms of safeness? I know it works very well, and my...
