Chasing and pouncing are normal play behaviour in cats. They wrestle like little boys...all roughhousing. Is there something making you think its malicious?

Purina says the same about the beef fat but Magnus still reacts to it. This will certainly be on a cat by cat basis. :) So jealous it works out for you re: the fat!
