So we're leaving tomorrow and I thought to check back on the thread.
I see a lot of you guys posted to not crate her, I guess I didn't mention. The crate is REALLY big, plenty room for her to stretch and it's right next to the windows so she has a window view at all times. It contains a box...
Thanks for everyone's input, as for the baby doors, I rather just spend money to change out the door handles to the round ones so she cant open them anymore, I don't really want to get more giant objects for my small apartment
Also, we thought about keeping her in our bedroom during the day if...
Thanks for the reply Esp with the new feeders, I will order them soon so she can start using them.
As for the crate, I have to leave her in there unfortunately, because she's not allowed in our bedrooms (I have very bad cat allergy so I try to keep my bedroom cat free) But she's now pro at...
I would like to ask if anyone here has experience of leaving the cat home alone for 3 ~ 4 days.
Reason:
We're going to be away from home (to bf's parents house) during the weekend for Christmas and our roommate would be gone too. We would bring our cat along with us but:
- She's super timid...
So I finally got the appointment with an allergist and did the testing for allergies. Yesterday I got the test results back, found out that I have Class 6 allergy to cat dander
I've switched from loratadine to Cetirizine, which I think is helping me a lot more, and the doctor put me on QVAR...
The litter falls out through the crack where the top and bottom close. All the latches are closed tightly and I even try to hold the box together but litter still fall out.
We live in a small apartment so getting a giant rubber mat just to roll the litterbox is not for me. Especially since the...
I got one for my kitty too. We initially had just a regular open litter box but she was kicking litter everywhere, so during our search for a covered box we stumbled upon this Omega one. It sounded like a wonderful idea and it was indeed easy to use.
HOWEVER, when you tilt the box toward the...
Have anyone here used a cat sitter before? Where do you find a reliable cat sitter? How much do they usually cost?
We're going to be on vacation end of October and the person who will be feed my cat is going to be gone too for a week, I don't really know anyone who can take care of my cat...
I'd say move! He doesn't seem to be invested in maintaining this relationship and it would be exhausting to love a person who is unwilling to participate.
You have a whole life ahead of you and you will find someone else who is greater
Although I do have to mention, I wash my hands after I...
So it's been a hectic month with the surgery and vet visits.
But she's finally a happy girl now, super needy, which is a surprise because she used to be so scared of people and runs away all the time.
Thank you all for the great advices and helped me through this long process. My allergies...
Thanks for the replies
The thing is, I already brought her to the vet to get vaccinated and wormed. I found these white worms AFTER I came back from the vet.
I just checked the receipt from the visit and it showed that my cat was given Nemex. A Google search shows that it's for round worms...
I want to ask if it's safe to give my cat this tape worm medicine?
http://www.amazon.com/Tape-Worm-Feli...0442547&sr=8-3
She was a stray and after I took her in I had the vet to check for worms. I was told they didn't see worms but gave her a wormer just in case. Few days later, and I've been...
Update.
My allergies seem to be a bit better after she's been bathed. Allerpet is a pain in the butt because she does not like to be wiped down with a towel.
I'm starting to think she might of been a house pet at one point because she knows how to open doors.
I actually brought her to two...
