That is totally helpful, we were starting to just think he's a nut since most people seem to have pretty much the opposite problem and can't get their cats to eat anything   

My cat Wilson has the table manners of a poorly behaved dog.  He constantly begs for scraps, and will happily eat anything we eat.  Bread, popcorn, potato chips, rice and beans, hummus... I've had him steal a carrot off my plate before.  He just scarfs it down the second you turn your back...

Good call, I was thinking of the "kibble" version of the frozen raw.  I DO have Instinct's normal kibbles too, but I don't feed that regularly.  They have limited-ingredient varieties that have got to be better than some of the other kibble options out there.

I switched my cat from crummy canned food to Instinct Raw chicken and he went from stinking up the whole house to us not even noticing when he used the litterbox.  I would give it a few more days - it took about a week, but my cat DEFINITELY improved on Instinct.

Wilson was already neutered when we found him (and declawed... don't even get me started!) and he certainly isn't lazy or fat! I caved and have been giving him dry food today since I have some Nature's Variety Instinct limited ingredient on hand and he just seems so hungry.  I don't know what...
