Thank you Red Top Rescue. He had the depo shot when he was first diagnosed with stomatitis and it helped greatly. But it was after that shot that his kidney values went up. My vet said prednisolone is easier on the kidneys that the depo shot & that continual depo shots can cause heart problems...
