thank you. once i know what the projected amount is i'll look into those resources...hopfully i can afford this, but if not, it's nice to know there are places to go for help.
Low Grade Ceruminous Carcinoma. Our vet said it's a localized cancer, and they want to go in and remove part of her ear canal to try to get everything out...she's looking into the cost for me. I hope I can afford it, Im not sure what I'll do if I can't...I'd have to get a loan. Anyway, just...
we also had this issue...switched to ceramic instead of plastic and the problem resolved itself. I've also heard it's more common on light colored cats, but I wonder if thats just because it's easier to see. Anyway, it should resolve itself after a little time, at least it did here.
maybe some of you remember my post a few weeks ago about my girl cat, Angel. She had the polyps in her ear and the crusty stuff that seeped out. Well, after a vet visit that yielded no results other than she does not have ear mites, I got a 2nd opinion from the vet that my parents go to...I...
I call them polyps, but I'm not honestly sure...they look like it...think gray/black bumps that look soft, but she acts like it hurts terribly when touched. I'm just going to take her along to the vet. Hopefully I'll actually get a diagnosis this time so I can treat the issue!!
thank you for the info on the drops...i'll look into it!
as for the food, all 3 have been on Hill's Prescription c/d for about 2 years due to Mason's struvite crystal issue...I've not been able to find a way to feed one cat one food and the others another as Mason absolutely cannot tolerate...
i use it maybe 2 times a week...sometimes once if i'm slacking. also wanted to mention that it's not coming from the large main canal...it's like there's a smaller one towards the front of the ear...does that make sense. and i forgot to metion that when i just used it about 20 minutes ago, it...
they put her out when they spayed her, and i made sure to ask them to do that...that was in the summer tho...and the icky stuff has come back just as bad as before.
First, I'd like to say that we have seen the vet about this multiple times...each time she's been tested for mites, each time the result is negative. I don't think it's a food allergy, as she's had this issue with every brand I've tried (tried to do the process of elimination thing).
Ok...
Well, I liked the suede and leather for mainly the fact that cat hair will not weave it's way into the fabric. I also have a lab and he sheds like crazy! The microfiber/suede does a great job at almost repelling the fur, it's very easy to just wipe off. My mom and dad have leather couches and...
Angel is the only one who does it. SHe does it on the couch I have now, which is cloth, and I make a loud noise to get her to stop. I think I'll look into the nail caps, they're fairly inexpensive, though I think I'll need an army to help me get them put on!!
I just purchased a new leather and suede recliner. I DO NOT want my kitties sharpening their claws on it. How do I prevent that? Maybe those plastic colored nail caps?
I think I've posted a similiar thread before, but I can't find it, and I'm not sure what to do. Angel, my rescue, is driving me nuts. I love her to pieces. But she follows me everywhere I go (which is ok) and meows this desperate, lonely sounding meow. I had previously assumed she was lonely...
Angel is the only cat that's not declawed. I didn't have it done because I learned of the cruelty involved. My other 2 are declawed. Here's an example of what's been happening. Last night, I was in bed watching a movie and Thor was laying next to me. Angel jumped up on the bed, and proceded...
