Sounds to be it is nerves. I would suggest trying Feliway plug in. It releases facial pheromones to help calm cats. I use this in my home as I am a cat foster Mom and own 3 forever cats.    But just to make sure I would check around the house for things Tigger may have gotten into... plants etc.
