Good morning, almost afternoon, & Happy Whiskers Wednesday! My mom used to always tell us to hang the toilet paper under so that's what I did for the longest time. However, people kept telling me you're supposed to hang it over so I started noticing it everywhere I went and sure enough many places had it hanging over. I decided to switch but of course I never told my mom. Although when I visited my sister last fall her T.P. was hanging under. I guess she was still following our mom's rules. How about you, what's your preference?

I like it over, but one is under for the time because J kept unrolling it.

Over, simply because it's easier to grab at where the holder is situated in the upstairs bathroom, as for downstairs...I don't care, the TP is actually currently just sitting on the back of the toilet because the holder doesn't fit the double rolls, and I buy what's on sale, so double rolls it is...whether it fits or not.
I'm not overly particular in general.

Neither!I keep mine in one of the cabinets out of reach of those claws.We always have the bathroom door closed because of that,and they'll try to shred my shower curtain liner.There is an occasion from time to time when someone will sneak in and get left behind,which means quite the fluffy mess to clean up!Yes they know where to hide undetected,lol!

Mum always hung it under when I was growing up, and so did I until she started having trouble with it. None of our cats has shown any interest in unraveling it.

I have the opposite problem with the downstairs bathroom. It takes double rolls but almost every store I go to only sells mega rolls.

I think it's the result of the hoarding during the pandemic. Not only is it mega rolls but it is the large multi-roll packages. Used to be able to get a four pack of regular size rolls. Even though I live alone it doesn't bother me. It doesn't go bad and it will get used.

Over. My husband likes it under, the heretic, so when the toilet paper starts to get toward the low end, it's like a race to see who can replace it first. I win 99% of the time. Same with the paper towels.

Whenever I try to replace the toilet paper roll in our upstairs bathroom the little clip thingy doesn't catch and the holder falls off the wall.
So I always let DH do it, that way if he breaks it it's his fault not mine.

I have these TP holders. When we moved in, I wondered if the TP would stay on them, but it does. They're great! So easy (to hang the toilet paper OVER as it should be ).

Both Livie and Lila are too fascinated with toilet paper, so I keep it on the back of the tank. Lila managed to destroy two rolls before I learned, and when Livie was the size of a guinea pig she would stare at it and throw herself against the wall trying to grab it.

Over. None of us like fishing around for the end or having it dangling any closer to the waste basket. Yuck! (Small bathroom.)

When Noodles and Mooch were kittens in the swiss cheese tp phase we tried under. It didn’t help.
