Then yesterday, Keg moved the trash can and behold, the purple ball is back with us.  Keg is very sure that he looked under the trash can and there was no purple ball.  Now, Kiefer is happy, happy, happy.
Happy, happy, happy you say?  This brings a whole new dimension to the Keg and Kiefer antics.  A whole new visual too!  I'm almost sorry  you got a new phone so he's not Keg anymore.

I agree!  I apologize.
.....  Oh!  Look!  A butterfly!
..... Little early for those guys!  I wonder where the robins are? ... We got another 3 inches of snow last night.  Anybody want to help make snow kitties?
I saw a whole flock of Robin's last Sunday!!!  I haven't seen them since...
And we just drove home in the snow.  As soon as we got home; the snow finished doing it's thing.
We don't have enough for snow kitties anyway.  I tried to teach my DD how to make snow angels without getting in the snow with her.  (I need a waterproof coat and some boots!)  I'm not sure how to describe what she ended up making.  It wasn't quite an angel.  And not quite a kitty.

Do you ever pull out a piece of furniture and find tons of toys? I filled out my oven and found enough cat toys to start my own pet store
I have cats and small children.  Sometimes I'm the one who put the toys there!  Mommy needs a break from things from time to time.  Musical things. Things that are loud when they bang into other things.

So I spent over 2 hours in Kohls today looking for purple clothing for every member of my immediate family.  Even my husband; who hates color.  Or wearing color.  We have a family function that we are all supposed to wear it to.  I couldn't find anything for my DS.  He's wearing blue instead.  And clothing he already had.  I have a purple sweater so I'm good.  Loooove me some purple!  My kitchen is purple and my mixer DH got me for Christmas is a berry purple.  I even got nail polish to match!  My sweater matches the kitchen wall color.  I'm still looking for one to match the mixer.  How can you not love purple when it starts with "puuuuurrrrr."

Oh; anyone want a purple tie when DH is done with it?

@MoochNNoodles Purrrrrrple is my favorite color too (and my cats’- when my favorite color changes my cats’ favorite color also changes. Naturally, right? Going along with the servants’ odd trends.
)

My little Pippi just jumped from the ground to the top of a door, from the top of the door to the couch, from the couch to the top story of her cat condo, from the top story to a chair, from chair to the ground, from ground back onto the couch, and from couch to my shoulders.

My goodness I feel mighty late for this chattyness extraveganza!

For my some reason I have "My Sharona" stuck in my head.

Morgana stole two noodles from my bowl this past dinner time.

Valentine's Day is coming up! I'm probably one of the very few single folks that actually really likes it. The colours it provides in the winter, the history, and my mom and I always enjoyed celebrating together
It's a nice, simple holiday! Single or taken. I'll probably get shot for this, but sometimes folks can be so negative about it.

I completely agree with you. DH and I love celebrating Valentine’s Day with a simple homemade dinner. Did you know that there are actually “anti-Valentine’s” societies and festivals?

You may think I am turning into a cat, but I just ate one of Wallace’s cat treats completely by accident.
It happened to be in a plastic baggie containing some Girl Scout cookies I had saved from the day before in my purse and somehow I must have unknowingly placed it in my purse (or was it the cats?
) I was contently eating some cookies when I suddenly tasted this crunchy, bittersweet cranberry cookie with an otherwise bland taste. Blegh.

Ah Valentine's day!  I stashed DH's chocolates in a kitchen cabinet and told him he's not allowed in there.  I keep forgetting to re-hide them!  My kid's get little gifts from us too.  This year I found these small plastic buckets and I'm putting candy hearts and a M&M Valentine tube in each of theirs.  I also got stickers for DD and a small stuffed puppy for DS.  I am so tempted to get him something huge.  Not life size; but big enough to roll around with!  He loves to snuggle any stuffed animals.  It's so sweet!!

@GCat....I think that qualifies you for an extra girlscout cookie or two!

My paper eating girl cat, WindSong, consumes all cardboard that she can find. Completely ruined the phone book.

Oh I am fed up with turquoise! It is probably my least favourite colour, and I have to make 30 metres of turquoise themed bunting for my mother's birthday party in April, because it is her favourite. As a child we had a turquoise fitted carpet downstairs and a turquoise bathroom suite, and I hated it. I have mounds of turquoise fabric, I am dreaming in turquoise, I am drowning in turquoise. Help!!

AAwww.. how good it that?  Colour and cat therapy all in one.

I'm still trying to roll my rocks around the garden.  I need some rock-rolling friends to come and help.  Perhaps I could have a rock and roll party....

Earlier this week my cat got a hold of my daughter's homework and put it on the litter box, last year he chewed up a math book.....what naughty boys:nod:
I can see that going down a treat at school!
Parent letter of authenticity on that excuse required I think!!!  I  guess you could always have taken it in and seen if the teacher still wanted to mark it?
If I had a child I think Mouse would need to be banned from going near any homework materials and school books or I'd be hauled up in front of the head teacher as an irrisponsible parent due to the regular paper mache creations he'd make.

Today I need to strip my bed down and re-make it including the duvet cover, I'm not sure I'm up to the Mouse games that always involves....  anyone know why cats think they make the best assistants for bed making?

Yiiiikes!
Goodness, funny how people decide to bash something that is jst suppose to represent love. And if they actually put all that same negative time, effort and energy into something more positive they might actually have a more happier occasion . Simple homemade dinner sounds lovely

Uh oh. Finland VS Canada in Women's hockey. I'm Canadian, and Half-Finnish with citizenship. NOOOOOOOO! My beloved homeland versus my beloved bloodline! Can't they both make it to the gold medal game and win the gold medal together....? It can be a Finnadian event! Or a Canafiann! Or maybe Canafinnidiashan!

Mani, I'd love to come to a rock and roll party in your garden but I think it might be a bit too far away.
  Oh well.

I once got a valentine from my kitty - or at least that's what it said in it.
A little gossip told me it was sent by my big brother though so I didn't get too excited.  Only ever had 2 valentines in my whole life and that was one of them. Oh well, there's still time....

Ah, yes, the "secret admirer" type cards and letters!  Our pets "send" me stuff, too.  I wonder where they get the money?  Maybe they have "secret" jobs!  Moonlighting somewhere!  Oh, those sneaky .....  I guess I shouldn't complain.  Now if they would just "buy" their own food!

It appears no one raided my desk last night.   Unless DH cleaned it up before he left for work.  I slept a little later than I expected.  I kept dreaming about a sink hole in my backyard.  My house in the dream was my Grandparent's; but it was on my property.  First I noticed water bubbling up around where we have 2 access things in the yard for the septic system; then the ground around it collapsed. Then for some reason I had a sprinkler on and more collapsed because I had forgotten to shut it off for 8 hours or something.  I reached down and got sprayed in the face but I was able to get the sprinkler out of the sink hole and shut it off.  Then my yard was both soggy and springy.  It rippled.  The hole kept getting bigger but we were all in the house still.  I was starting to try to pack things up so we wouldn't lose everything if the sink hole reached the house.  That's about the time I woke up and all I remember.

Oh gorgeous! My new blue tortie kitten has a purple collar - I like greys and purple together. I tried mixing purples with the turquoise flags but it doesn't look right.
I've had purple collars for Noodles; they look so nice on her!  I found a pink leather collar that has lasted a long time; but I need a new one for Mooch.  I'd love to find something purple for both of them but I can't justify buying Noodles another yet.

Maybe you need a Flintstone theme rock rolling party @Mani

Canafinnidashan.... Did I get that right?   My eyes kind of went -->
but I like it!   I like Finnadian too!
Canaland?  That sounds like a Campbells Theme Park or something.

That old joke about the dog eating somebody's homework isn't a joke, and extends to cats. I once had a dog rip up an expensive school book (Tristan and Isolde in Middle High German), probably because he felt I was spending more time with it than I was with him.

Mogli chewed the top margins off a stack of tests I was marking last semester. Luckily my students thought it was funny.

I'd have quite liked a few of the top margins of my tests chewed away before my mom saw them when I was younger, the bit where the marking was! Never happened though, and if anything did get chewed it would have been by my gerbils as my mom didn't let me have anything bigger.
Gerbils could have made pretty short work of my homework I guess had I wanted to loose it but my teachers would only have insisted in it being redone and redone for the original time line.
I did turn up for quite a few meetings in my last job with various important bits of paper chewed at the corners which didn't look too great. Just as well I wasn't looking for promotion.
