Hi cat lovers .. I have a question that might be a bit weird.. I kiss all my cats on the mouth & the nose .. My friend who also own a cat was shocked when I told her that I kiss my cats on the mouth? Do you think this is ok?

Personally, I think it's fine. I wouldn't do open mouth (sorry about the graphic), but a quick peck on the lips/mouth area is fine.

I kiss my kitties, too. I can't help it, there so freakin cute and they are my kids, too.
Actually, I'll kiss Ritz anywhere she'll let me.

I give all of my kitties smooches on the mouth/nose. In fact any place but their hiney is fair game for smooches! lol

Many a squeamish person will object to kissing an animal on the mouth. It gives me too much pleasure not to (tho, as others have pointed out, no tongue! ^^). I say go for it.

I ALWAYS kiss mine on the side of their mouth!!
l don't kiss my cats on the lips, although l probably have at some point. l kiss their noses all the time.
And l love LOVE little kitty toes. The pads of their feet are probably the dirtiest things to kiss, but l kiss their little footie pads all the time.

I kiss them, too. At night, when Mollipop curls up with me in bed, the last thing she does before she goes to sleep is she puts her face close to mine and I pucker my lips. Give her a smooch, she licks my nose, gives a big sigh, and she goes to sleep. She's probably the only one that I kiss her face, but I kiss the other kids on their heads, on their paws, etc.
I used to smooch our RB Banshee's belly every chance I got. Loved that belly. There's something about a fluffy belly that demands smooches.

Guess I am the odd one here, but no, not on the mouth. I kiss them other places, head, ears, back, belly, but not the mouth.

I kiss my kitties all the time. Usually on their "chubs" (those cute darling cheeks.
It's not so much that I kiss them on the mouth (which I do) but that they kiss me! Three of my four will start with face rubs and then end with them putting their mouths/noses on my mouth. You can even make kiss-y noises at them and the will lift their heads for you to kiss them on the mouth. #icanthelpittheyaresocuteandkissable

monq- No judgement here! As a dog lover too, sometime things happen. 
But I do try to avoid having my tongue interact with their tongue. It seems more wrong to me than gross- like French kissing your child!

FANTASTIC, exactly, so funny this thread is .. I have tried to kiss my cats on the mouth, but both of them at the last minute, turn their heads to give me their cheek, that's ok, I take what I can get.. but I do kiss David's soft pink paw pads when he is sleepy (and he lets me, always)
I have to admit I do it too. I kiss Bella on the cheek,head. She has to know she is loved everyday but when she gets tired of it she will let me know and jumps down.
Cats don't have lips... But i kiss their little mouths all the time They are far too cute to not get kisses.
