She's gorgeous! Baby pictures are the best!
She has the prettiest blue eyes! What happened to her one eye?

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
She was rescued from a liquor store parking lot. Hubby just happened to be heading to the vets when people had come by to drop her off. The vet pointed out they're not a shelter, and unless they were willing to take financial responsibility, there was nothing they could do. They were going to return her to where the found her! He chased them down in the parking lot, gave them a piece of his mind, and took her back inside. Her eyes were glued together, her nose was so snotty she could barely breathe, she was completely emaciated, she was terribly sunburned (especially her ears), she'd been attacked by something and needed stitches in her leg... she was horribly dirty. I can imagine how terrible it was. Hubby said he was so glad I wasn't there.

She had to be tube fed, and the vet didn't think she'd make it. But she sure did! She was treated with antibiotics, got her stitches, got her sunburn treated, got her ears treated (she had an incredible earmite infestation - vet said he'd never seen anything like it).

It turns out she has a herpes virus. She did lose most of her hearing, though there are some frequencies she responds to, though we're not sure whether she actually hears them or senses them somehow. We fought to keep that eye though - and with the meds for her various illnesses, we had to medicate her 11 times a day for over a month, poor baby. But it was just too difficult on her, so we ended up having that eye removed. She also had a growth in her neck, which we had to have removed. I have a lot of VERY frankenstein-looking pics of poor Flowerbelle!

But she was just a fighter and a trooper through it all - and then she almost lost her life to an undetected lung worm infestation! That's when we found our new vet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is what she looked like after almost three weeks in the hospital (the first time I saw her):

Even so pathetic-looking she was just so cute!

Flowerbelle is just so beautiful!

Good on your for rescueing her! She is adorable and I'm sure she knows how much you have done for her even through all the medicating and vet trips.

And I can't believe the vets!! They should have taken her in fixed her up and then adopted her to a good family. They have a responsibility to help animals like doctors have a responsibility to look after sick or injured people they come across!!

We'd love to see more piccies of her!

I noticed that there were lots more white cats on TCS that weren't in the white cat fan club, so I had to find this thread again! I have to add Lola, too.

This is Ophelia Rose(a.k.a. Lola). I am sure I posted these pictures before, but I don't have any other new ones!

I am sure I can find some more on the computer, but I have to put them in my photobucket. As soon as I do, I can post some new pics of Ophie(pronounced Oafie) here.

Any other new-ish white cat meowmys & purrpaws out there who would like to add their fur kids?

Here's my little girl, Ariel. Even though she's not the youngest, we still call her our little girl as she's only about 6 pounds!

What breed are most of these short haired white cats? I'm trying to figure out what breed my Tommy boy is! Adopted him when he was 3 lbs.

Unless the cat has papers, they are a domestic short or long hair, depending on fur length. :)

He doesn't have any papers, I adopted him at the animal shelter. So what does that mean? He doesn't belong to a certain breed? He has short white fur..here he is right now lol...

This is Leo, my pretty Turkish Angora. He's almost 7 months old. He's the sweetest little fur baby ever. He loves to cuddle and sleep on my lap.
