We're leaving to florida for april break for ten days in about two days and we have everything all set for my 6 month old kitten, including someone who will come in every day to feed and pet him. Is there anything i should know about leaving a cat alone?

Just that they get lonley. So make sure someone visits often. Make sure anything harmful is up because kitty may get bored and go for things they normally wont. I would also leave a radio or tv on as well as some lights.

Leave a sweatshirt or piece of clothing that smells like you so that the kitten can sleep on it for comfort. Don't forget to leave your vet's phone number for the caretaker and an emergency clinic number, as well. Have a nice trip.
