I am talking with Jacky and she said I could post about the kitten's arrival. This is what happened according to her:

"American Airlines gave my sisters sphynx to the wrong person but we stopped her. The lady did not even look to see if she had the right cat. I said thats sphynx and she turned around and my sister said I think that is my cat. My sister also got a phone call saying her puppy is ready. The lady at the counter told us sorry and told the guy he could get in so much trouble for making that kind of mistake."


I think that is terrible that happened.

Oh dear, but glad things are ok. It will take a few days or weeks to get everyone settled.

When we picked up Jack - there were 3 families waiting for pets - but at least the other two were waiting on dogs and not cats

Sounds better that way. I told Jacky I'd be afraid to trust the airlines, since they've even been reported to send kids to the wrong place. At least her sister got her cat though.

I did add however that when I fly for next year's annual (provided things work out), I will insist that my cat comes in cabin with me. I might have a bengal soon to show and it would be something to fly a bengal and end up at my destination with a sphynx

You can get a hairy sphynx and pretend it is a Bengal LOL
