Hi there!

I'm new on here, I have a bunch of cats so I figured I could use a little extra help! I live in upstate New York. I'm twenty years old and work as a waitress. I am engaged to be married, and I live with my fiance, my best friend and her boyfriend in a 2 bedroom apartment. Altogether we have 9 cats, a chihuahua puppy, a ferret, and a betta fish. 7 of the cats are mine, lol. First there is Mira, my baaaaaby. She's about a year old. Her coloring is very unique, I've never seen another cat that looks like her (besides her sister Kiki, who belongs to my roomies). She's a calico of sorts, solid grey with tan/orange speckles kind of. It's strange to see at first but she's a gorgeous cat. She's VERY friendly, even with strangers, and is always seeking attention. She "talks" more than any cat I've ever known, she even talks back if you scold her, like a teenager with a bad attitude. She just gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens not too long ago. I have dubbed them Simon, Daisy, and Penny. Simon is your typical grey tiger cat, except his belly is white with black polka-dots! He is the most people friendly, even at only 3 weeks. Daisy is an orange tiger cat just like her daddy. She was the last one born but the first to open her eyes, walk and grow teeth. Now, Penny is very unusual. She is mostly grey with just a few large orange blotches. But the coolest part is that her tiger stripes run both through the grey and the orange. It's hard to explain...it's almost like it was pre-ordained she would be a tiger cat but the people in charge couldn't decide what color to make her. I've never seen anything like it. The father of the kittens was a feral I took in but he hated domestic life and eventually it became clear that it would be best for all parties involved to set him free. He now enjoys running free on a local farm. But we found out recently that he left us with a parting gift: Mira's twin Kiki is now expecting as well. Then there's Kipper, the first cat I ever owned, although he lived with my parents for quite a while (they have 2 of his brothers and didn't think it was right to separate them). By some twist of fate I wound up with him and one of the brothers, who has since passed away due to acute liver failure. Kipper is long-haired and looks black, but is really a very very dark brown. He is about 4-5 years old and is GI-NORMOUS. My sister watched some t.v. show and told me that she thinks the brothers are part maine-coon. I know for sure that they are at least part feral; a neighbor found them abandoned in a heating duct as kittens and we took them in. He's very skittish but once he gets used to you he can be quite affectionate. Then there are Callie and Missy, my problem children. I aquired them very recently from a freind's grandmother. I am not sure of their ages, though I know the previous owner had Missy for something like 11 years. They are mother and daughter (Missy being the mother). They are both long haired; Callie is calico and Missy is white with grey markings on her face and back. Neither is fully litter trained and Missy is a chewer. I don't think they have ever been properly socailzed, as they are not only unfriendly toward humans, but sometimes even mean. I adore them both but the cons are beginning to outweigh the pros, especially with so many other cats, and another litter of kittens on the way. I'm at a loss. As of today I also found out my parents are going to be giving me another one of my cats that they kitty-napped from me. She's a pretty calico named Roxy. I am very excited about that, though it's been a while and I'm not sure she remembers me and I'm worried how she will react to the other cats. But we will see. Sorry this was so long, lol, but I do love my cats, and I love talking about them any chance I get! Thanks for reading and I'm very happy to be part of TCS.
