LA and BEVERLY HILLS ALSO BAN DECLAWING!

...and in answer to the question about the law preventing municipalities from passing this type of legislation... the answer it is specifically a bill submitted by vets banning municipalities from banning declawing! It was signed by Gov Schwarzenegger and goes into effect Jan 1, thus the rush by muncipalities to ban it now!

I posted about this awhile back when LA and Hollywood banned it. I'm glad to see more cities are jumping on board.

Once the entire state of California bans it, we can expect to see more nationwide support.

It's a good start, but there is a long way to go.

Trends almost always start in CA. This is a good beginning.
