Its 710 am on the east coast here!!! Its flipping COLD my car is warming up right now cuz it was covered in frost...Im dead to the world because we are stopping to get coffee and gas on our way down! But GiGi is in her carrier *I went the safest route and did the hard carrier* And everyone else has their food back now..Ill post some recovery pics as soon as I get home and get everyone situated!!!

She cried the whole way down to the clinic..Argh we just turned up the radio for that. But on the way home she only let out a couple meows. Shes laying with daddy right now getting lovied up and recouping. She ate a little since she has been home and drank alot of water but just like Hercules shes out and about roaming around. The funny thing is that she keeps glaring at Hercules like its his fault that this all happened. I think its because she smells like he did when he got home. But all in all shes doing good. She wont let me get a good look at her belly right now so Im going to wait till she goes back to sleep to check everything out and see how shes doing. I cant get any good pics of her right now but Ill try and get some when I catch her sleeping.

Very nice. I'm glad she's doing well. I remember how worried I was every time one of mine went through this.

I do feel a hundred times better now that its done and over with. I was worried that the whole time we had her and Hercules and he wasnt neutered yet that she would get pregnant. As much as I love cute little kittens I just didnt and dont have the time or space or funds to deal with a litter of babies! I also got the vet to give me a guess on how old she is because we werent sure since we found her on the side of the road. Shes about 9 mths now, and we got her about Julyish Augustish so we got her when she was just about 6 mths old. But she was TINY so Im glad now that I waited to get her spayed so I could bump her weight up and get her nice and plump.

(And the howling all the way down - we have two kitties that do that and it is always so heartbreaking, so Kudos to you for making such a long drive with that going on!)

Shes doing great...Still obnoxious as ever but she hasnt been grooming her incision at all..Her poor naked belly..lol..I cant help but giggle every time I see it. She wont let me get a good look at it unless I pick her up by her scruff and hold her down. But other than her sleeping Saturday away she did amazing she is healing great..Franklin tried to play with her yesterday but she wasnt having any of that and whacked him on the nose with her claws out...Thats the first time ANY of the cats ever gave Franklin a good whack..He has left her alone since that happened...LOL..But if he is going to mess with a kitty with claws he gets what he deserves! I have noticed that since we got home she is psycho obsessive about BF she wont leave him be when he is in the house and has started yowling more and more to be with him whereever he is at. Its adorable but he doesnt like it when she is trying to jump in the shower with him..LOL...Thanks for all your vibes on her surgery...And big yahooie all my cats are now spayed or neutered!! Woohoooieeee...

As to hanging with BF - cats who're upset or hurting will sometimes stick closer to the person they feel the safest with. Maybe that's what she's doing?

She is his little stalker. She loves him to death its crazy..When he is done in the shower and drying off if he isnt careful and accidentally holds the towel in front of him she will take a flying leap off the toilet seat and onto him to crawl around on his shoulders for him to carry her around. Shes so sweet and such a daddys girl...
