Arrival Story:

When it became apparent that my folks's other cat, Dylan, needed a companion, my mom and I went to a shelter to look for a new kitty. Nobody in the kitten room seemed to respond to us, and we were just turning around to go when what I had thought was a pillow suddenly stretched and sat up! It turned out to be a very fluffy little Maine Coon mix, and I fell in love with her right away. I had to convince my mom that this was the kitten we were looking for, but she finally decided to trust my instincts. Sassy has her problems -- she's a little neurotic about other females, and that's caused some trouble in the house -- but her very loving nature more than makes up for everything. We wouldn't trade her for the world!

Favorite Food & Treats:

Sassy prefers dry food, and rarely eats anything else, no matter how we try to tempt her.

Favorite Toys:

Even though she's become a little plump, Sassy can still do fabulous leaps and mid-air spins in pursuit of her yellow feather-boa toy. But what she mostly wants is Mom and me! She will actually reach out and grab our hands so she can snuggle and lick us for twenty minutes at a time. What a sweetheart!
