Has anyone else seen or used the litter scooper made by Scoopwell? It is shown in the Doctors Foster & Smith catalog. It sells for $10.99. This is the description:

Duo-size stainless steel screens remove small debris other scoops leave behind. Plus, scraper loosens dried messes to reduce bacteria and odors for a cleaner, healthier litter box. Durable plastic frame with long rubber-grip handle.

My mom’s cat, Thumper, has this bad habit when it comes to the litter box. After he urinates, he covers his urine, but he goes much further than that. He keeps covering it and hitting it in the process….breaking up the clump of urine. Then when I go to scoop it out, there are all these tiny little pieces of urine clumps that slip through the scoop. I was wondering if this scoop would help.

Peace,
Sophie

I was taking a bath and looking through the Dr. Foster and Smith Catalog. I saw the item you are speaking of. I think it looks great especially for you. :bigthumb:

I have it and I think it works great! I use flushable litter and it breaks up the pee clumps very well.

I have one and it's great for picking up those smaller pieces of clumped urine and/or poop. It's heavier than a normal scoop and a little bit bigger, but it's a good investment.
