I was told by my vet to put it on the cat's back, between their shoulder blades, instead of in a line down their back.

Is the dosage of Revolution the amount needed for the weight of your cat? I also have been told to place high onto the middle of the neck and in the middle of the shoulder blades on the cat. I have used Revolution for a long time now, with no ill effects. I have had one cat and one dog both have an allergic reaction to Advantage.

My vet recommends applying Revolution under the arm. When you apply it to the cat between the shoulder blades, often times they will develop a bald spot there, like my Tabby Peanut. He told me that since Revolution was originally develop & tested as an oral treatment that it's safe if the kitty licks it. I always apply it under the arm now. ;)
