I know people with them and the cats go nuts!! They are out of my price range but what a great idea! The fact that cats use them is also a surprise but they actually do.

I think I'll see if my dad can build me one. He does a lot of carpentry and built me a cat tree once. He dosen't seem very enthused with the idea though!

That looks like a great idea, shame about the price tag. I wouldn't want to risk buying one and then having the cats not use it. Maybe if you started them off as kittens, then they'd get used to it. Sure would help with Pushkin's jelly belly!

A lot of bengal breeders have these, but I've never seen other breeds use them. Doesn't mean they won't, I just haven't witnessed it.
We still don't have one...that price tag is pretty steep. I would like to have one though...I think it's a great idea.

That's interesting, but I don't think my Cupid would use it. He would have to love it for that price! I wonder how they start using it...I can't even get Cupid to sit where I want him to if I put treats there.

I think most active breeds would appreciate it. It is mostly only used with bengals for now I think because the person that makes them is a bengal breeder and thats the original market. Now with a web site that opens the market up quite a bit. At least for anyone that can afford them.

I wish they would sell carpentry plans. Even for $100 it would be worth it. But they have a patent so that will never happen.

Maybe eventually the price will go down, or they come out with a more economy model. The problem would be keeping it sturdy for the hyper cat.

Felixia might have gone for it when she was younger, but she gets tired quickly now. It's funny but she's the most active cat I have, even though she's the oldest at 17. The others have occasional bouts of zoomies, but spend most of their time laying around.

Maybe they'd be more active if they had something like that to run on? Or maybe they'd just look at me like I'm crazy ('Are you kidding? We're senior citizens, we're retired now!'), and go back to laying around.

I always assumed cats were more intelligent than hamsters ? And I am not sure I would buy anything from someone who has a dead cat on the floor....

I stick with opening the back door.... I used to breed hamsters, and I can still remember being woken up in the middle of every night by a squeaking hamster wheel.....

Juicy would probably just sleep on it. :lol:

Speaking of intelligence..........opening the back door isn't entirely safe for your cats.
