I wouldn't give her another bath. Have you washed all items like bedding, toys (that can be), vacumned carpet etc?

Fleas are not easy to get rid of and over-the-counter remedies just don't work. You need to get flea meds from your vet in the dosage recommended by the vet for your kittie's weight.

Some of the over-the-counter remedies can actually make your kitten very ill and even in some instances cause death.

You will need to vacuum every day and empty the container outside the house. Wash all bedding, vacuum your furniture as well as your carpets.

There are other threads about fleas in the Pregnant Cats & Kittens forum that will also be able to help you.

It depends on the age of the kitten?

can you take her to the vet for a flea dip and then out the Revolution on her? You might still see fleas because they have to bite her to get the medicine and then they die I believe. So after 2-3 days it should have soaked in to her skin and you won't see it anymore. Did you put it on too low and she licked it off?

This should actually get into her blood and last a month. When the fleas bite they will die.

It sounds as though you bathed the cat after putting on the Revolution or am I mis-reading that? If so, you may have washed some of it off which would nullify the properties of the medication.

Revolution won't keep the fleas from getting on her but it will kill the fleas within a few hours after they get on her.

Your adult cat probably has a pretty bad infestation and should be treated. If she does not tolerate Revolution, then you can try Advantage or Frontline Plus. If neither of these is acceptable then you can give her Capstar, which is a pill that kills adult fleas. You have to give Capstar every day since it does not last in the cat's system but it is safe to do this and to use Capstar along with other flea products.
