I'm taking a friend's Persian to the groomer's today. I was just wondering how long will it take to get groomed. I've never done this before and didn't know if I should take a magazine or go up to the mall up the street and waste time there. It's at 1pm so if someone could help, that''d be great! Thanks, guys!

When we took Scully it was close to 3 hours, he had a bath and trim, but it took a little longer as a dog came in and scared him and he had an 'accident' all over the grooming table and had to be bathed again! Magnum about 1.5 hours (he had a bath and lion cut)

It depends. You might want to call the groomer and ask how long a typical grooming takes. Or if you have a cell phone you can take that with you and ask to be called when he is ready to go home. In general, though, I would expect it to take a minimum of an hour.
