I'd like to introduce my 2 cats to you all. Whiskey is a male orange tabby who is 8 1/2 y.o. and weighs in at about 20 lbs. I got him from a friend who didn't want to keep paying pet deposits. He was 1 1/2 y.o. when I got him. His favorite and only toy is a straightened out metal clothes hangar which he wraps his legs around and rubs his face on it. Always craving attention. Which is why I got Oliver for him to play with. Oliver was left on the front porch of a vet hospital in his carrier. A woman who had let me have one of her cats, which didn't work out, called and told me about Oliver. I went down and met him and picked him up the next day. He is 2 1/2 y.o. and is also a male orange tabby. It only took them 4 days to start getting along. Oliver LOVES to chase a flashlight beam and beating up on Whisky. All in fun, but I have to watch them as Whisky doesn't have claws (by former owner when it wasn't frowned on) :tounge2: :tounge2: :tounge2:

I'm 33 and live alone with them in Portland. I love the outdoors and am in the process of starting a wedding video business. Thanks in advance for all the help and encouragement I will get from you all!

Whisky is on left and Oliver is on the right.

Hi Keith, and welcome!

Whiskey looks a lot like my orange tabby, Squirt, except he has more white on his chest.

I, too, favor orange cats and have 2 of them. The aforementioned Squirt is almost 6, and his brother, Joey, is nearly 3.

I hope you enjoy the site, and hope to see you around.

Welcome to the cat site. I also have a orange & white boy - Excalibur - who is very big. He is the most affectionate of all my babies. Hope to see you posting often.

I haven't been here long myself, but they seem to be a 'good crowd' (if not a little nutty :dizzy: )

It's good fun here!

P.S Shame you're so far away - I'm getting married in August!!
