I just wanted to welcome all the newbies. I am a moderator in the breed section. I haven't been around lately as my family is in the process of moving back home to the eastcoast. I am so excited and can't wait to get home. Living on the westcoast for four years is enough. Anyway, a little bit about myself. I breed and show abys and Oriental Shorthairs and am an Allbreed Judge for an association by the name of AACE (website: www.aaceinc.org). I have been into cats many years and have met lots of friends at shows. I also rescue and place retired racing greyhounds and will continue to do that once we are home. Our family is not only a cat family but also a dog family. Anyway, just wanted to quickly welcome all of you and I'm sure you'll find this site very informative and fun. I know I have.

But I wanted to follow in Frannie's footsteps here ( if she doesn't mind ) , and say welcome to all of the newbies here as well!!! Oh, I guess I should follow suit and tell you about myself as well. Have 2 female cats....Sunshine and Cymone. Both are about 1.5-2 years old. I am a stay at home mom , I have 2 kids, and am married. Live on Cape Cod Massachusetts.

Hey Daniela, I'll be on the Cape this summer as Rene owns a house there and the girls (me, Rene, Sandie and Michele) spend a girls weekend. Hey, maybe we can all meet for a drink. Let me know what you think??? BTW, I don't mind you followin in my steps.

I also forgot to mention that I also have my rescued cats as I use to rescue when I lived in NY. I am not a board member for Helping Paws in Connecticut (Rene's group).

Sorry Rene, I was rushing with the post at work. What I meant to say was that I am NOW a board member for Helping Paws. SORRY, Please forgive me Rene. You know once I get home that only things that matter (besides my cats, dogs, family and best friends) are AACE, Helping Paws and placing retired racing greyhounds. Heck, I'm married but that's not what's important (let's not let my husband read this and Ken if you ever open your mouth about this, I will definitely haunt you for the rest of my life.)
