View Full Version : Hi I'm new here
sboricua 20th July 2005, 06:17 PM Hi My name is Shamile and I live in Twentynine Palms, CA. with my husband. We moved here from Maryland b/c he is in the Marines and he will be heading out to Iraq. I have two kittens to keep me company when he leaves. Their names are Mojave and my new kitten I just got yesterday is name Sassy. I also have another cat name Candy, but she lives with my parents in Maryland. She was my first cat. She is now 10yrs old. I would of brought her with me but she is an outdoor cat and I did'nt want to take that away from her. And I definitley don't want to her to go outside in the desert so a coyote or something gets her. Ne ways thats pretty much it I guess.

Thank you very much. I'm going to need it. I'm 21 and we got married a month 1/2 ago. So I'm new to all of this. I'm new to the area and I don't know anyone. So I think this will help me out alot. Thank you

Thank you. Sassy is so cute. I'm having trouble keeping Mojave from attacking her but I think he's playing more than fighting, but he goes over board. Hopefully they will get along soon. how long did it take for your cats to finally get along?

It will take a little time for your 2 to "accept" each other. As long as Mojave isnt too aggressive with Sassy then its okay - just keep an eye on them. Obviously Mojave's territory has been "invaded" by this new little one so he needs to get used to that. It probably took a good week before I saw my 2 boys sleeping together and getting along. Good luck - there is lots of great advise & information on these boards, so just ask away!!
welcome again from me and my boys :wavey:
