Hello everyone! I am new to the site, but not new to cats. I am (almost) 20 and have had cats practically my whole life. I feel a special bond with them and with other animals. I love all animals, but have a special connection with cats and rabbits. Currently we have two cats named Monkey and Tigger; two rabbits named Cadbury and Cheyenne; and four dogs named Tippy, Buster, Brutus, and Dakota.

When I adopted my sweet bunny, Cadbury, last year I immediately joined a forum for pet rabbit owners to further educate myself on the proper care and to hear stories from other bunny lovers about their bun's antics.

For some reason, it just didn't dawn on me until now to find a great cat forum as well so that I can learn and enjoy cats from all over the world. This site looks friendly and informative. I certainly have a lot to read and catch up on!

Welcome to TCS, Bear Cat! I'm glad that you like the site - you're right- it is busy, and in a very positive way. You have quite a full house ( so do I) but at least we are never lonely or bored, right!? I noticed that you are from TN - I'm supposed to fly to Lebanon to see my sis, then up to MI for the annual visit to the family(ies) at the end of June. It's the only time of year that I get to see fireflies, since we don't have them around here... Susan
