I already posted a thread, but thought I'd come introduce myself now. I'm Jenn or Jennifer, whichever you want to refer to me as... I live in Kansas, in the suburbs of Kansas City.... I'm a business student at the University of Missouri in KC... almost done with it (three more semesters sigh).

Enough of that boring stuff. My first kitty is Epi (named after the drug, thanks Mom). I have had her since I was 6(?) and I am almost 21. She lives with my mom cause she's really Mom's cat. She's old and skinny bones... But she's always been skinny (6lbs). She is a cuddle kitty, at least with my mom. Very quiet and sweet. I wish I had pics of her to show, but she is a medium/long hair (can't remember which) tabby cat.

The kitty I adopted last August is Stella. She'll be one next month, according to vet's estimates. She looks surprisingly like Epi kitty, but her attitude is very different. She meows alllll the time, and she's kind of mean (lol how honest of a mommy am I? oops haha). She likes to bite/scratch, and basically annoy us to death. But she has her moments. SHe likes to give kisses on your face, and usually with do it when you say "Give me kiss!" hmmm Oh she is also a big fat cat weighing in around 11lbs already!!! Here's a picture:

And since I live in an apartment and can't adopt all the kitties in the world, I volunteer 1-2 times a week at Wayside Waifs, a large shelter here in Kansas City. I do a lot of the photography for their website, but also socialize cats, and walk dogs. I am getting trained to do other things such as animal receiving, adoption counter, cat and dog stray (where the animals are at our facility before they're moved to the adoption floor... the more dangerous area, that's for sure!) and the vet clinic (giving vaccinations and drawing blood... fun stuff!). can't wait to be able to move around the facility and be of more help.

I think I've said enough! Questions? Comments? hehe

Hi and welcome! How cool that you've had a cat since you were 6! And Stella is gorgeous! She just sounds like she has a bit of personality, like my Baylee. :)

Your volunteering at the shelter sounds very cool... I think it'd be fun to do!

Anyway we're glad to have you here!
