I have a 4 year old Persian that I just adopted this week. He has a lion cut because he was rescued, and his fur was matted beyond grooming. I have put a sweater on him, and he keeps it on and is fine with it, but I''m not sure if it will hinder his fur from growing in. Does anyone know about this???

I don't know either about sweaters for cats, My male basset used to like have a cow when you would put one on him, and it took an ack of congress to get it off (no lie) he threw a fit groweling and everything he hated them

I think that as long as the cat isn't wearing the sweater 24-7, it's okay... maybe just for a little bit at a time.

Aww that picture is so cute :love: Am afarid I can't give any advice on cats in sweeters as i have had no expirance as my cats would throw a fit if I tried to put one on....

Monte loves his sweaters, because he loves to be warm! We did start him wearing them around 11 weeks of age. If I were you, I would purchase one from a local store (dont pay to much) and see what he thinks. If he will not wear it, just return it. Monte always walks a little funny for the first minute or two, but then he is fine. :lol3:
