Hi,

I just adopted a himalayan cat (2 years old) about a month ago. With her eyes tearing it dries up brown. I wash her face every morning with a washcloth. Does anyone know of an easier way? She does not like when I do it. Also through the day some of it dries before I can clean it and it dries up and is hard to remove. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

They are a beautiful breed, but they require a lot of care. :)

Eye Envy is a GREAT product. I have a white Persian and it worked wonders for him. :bigthumb:

Thanks so much. I will definately get some. She also gets a lot of dried up stuff by her eyes and along her nose, will this help?

I use plain saline and cosmetic puffs 2x a day on my kitty, and that seems to work very well.

Eye Envy (http://www.eyeenvy.com)

My veterinarian suggested that I use the pads they (Eye Envy) provide (or qauze pads) because cotton balls/pads/swabs can leave lint residue and irritate their eyes even more.

The eye envy will help the dried up stuff by her eyes and nose a lot! Another thing that helps is to buy some sterile saline eye drops at the drug store and put a couple drops in her eyes once a week or so. It really seems to help my persian's bunches!
