Hi! I am hoping that someone can help "shed" some light on this question for me! Is Puppy shedding her kitten fur? My vet's assistant mentioned it and I had never heard of it B4. She has begun shedding like CRAZY. :jump: I am brushing her and wiping her down with kitty bath wipes, however, she hates both of these activities. :onfire: My vet's assistant said that Puppy will lose a lot of her fluffiness whan she gets her adult coat. :paranoid: Is this true? I am hoping she stays kind of fluffy cuz I think she is just SO CUTE!!! :heart3:

Most kittens who have a coat like a cotton ball don't keep it. They'll get in a smooth, sleak adult coat (long or short) as they grow older. They'll still have a lot of hair, but it won't be puffy.

She also could be shedding because of the time of year. A few other members have commented that their cats have started the spring shedding already.
