Nano

I got a message asking me to introduce myself so here goes...
Nano is a 6-8 year old female cat who I adopted as a stray a couple months ago. She is doing very well but there is still some work to do. I'll try to get some pictures up soon but please don't be shocked if she is a bit rough looking. She is a black, white and orange shorthair cat.
I am an experienced pet owner but Nano is my first cat. I had cared for the cats of friends here or there, but this is all somewhat new to me.
I was at a different pet message board for a few weeks, but I think one dedicated solely to cats will be more helpful. There is no replacement for a vet but I hope this place will be a good resource. (I go to the local university clinic, and while they are technically good with extremely low prices, it is a revolving door using students and you never see the same person twice.) But I think chatting with experienced cat owners will fill the gap just fine.

PS. My girlfriend has a 3-4 year old female tabby named "Prissy" and she might use this account, too.
