:shocker: i can not belive all the hair that my himamalyans are shedding its unreal its everywhere When will we this stop?

I made them appointment to be groomed on the 18th to have there belly shaved and bottom and to remove some matted knots that i couldn't get out and i hope they can thin there hair a little It took a month to get them in cause they were so backed up
It's been along time since ive owned a long haired cat when i was a teen which that was many years ago :lol3: so i for got how much hair they shedded :jump:

Rhonda, I'm convinced that Himmies are not normal ! Mine shed all 12 months of the year, just worse during normal Shedding season. I usually vaccuum every day this time of year, with five of them, there's cat hair everywhere!

ooo what a good idea! I always wondered what I could do with all my himalayan's fur I brush off of him. I dunno, I never had a major problem with his shedding, only when he has been laying in one spot for a long period of time and there is hair all over that spot when he gets up.

Find a felting or spinning club in your area and offer the hair free they just have to brush it off the cats!

My himi is the same way. Just sheds, sheds, sheds and sheds. He is white with cream points, so the white hair is everywhere.
