my name is kimberly and i am a mother of four; our two kitties, austine (14) and purry (2), our children, karin (6) and jacob (14 months).

austine is a aproduct of her persian mommy sneaking out of the house and cavorting with the tabby across the street. she has the tabby M on her forhead, but her fur, temperment and shape of her face is her mom's. she is a tort, but the older she gets, her colors change.

purry is "just a stray" as our daughter says. he is a gray striped tabby, with white splotches. he has huge avocade green eyes, which i think are his most striking feature.

austine is old and slow, but still cuddly and likes to play, when the mood strikes her. purry, tries to chase poor old austy and wants to play, but he has decided that stealing the children;s stuffed animals and socks will suffice. LOL

my kitties and my children are my life. when talking about my fmaily, i talk about all six of us, but since i am on a kitty message board, i am assuming i am not alone, including our furry babies in our family.

You are not alone in thinking of your furry ones as family. I am the proud mother of three children and consider us a family of five. My husband is the same way. He tucks Inca into bed each night. I have so many pictures of them snoozing together that I finally had to stop taking them. heehee :lol3:
